WHAT ARE COOKIES
- Cookies are small files downloaded to a device (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) containing a certain amount of information that allows a website to recognize you as a user during your use of the website. The operator uses cookies to analyze the effectiveness of the website. Cookies generally do not contain information that identifies individuals but are instead used to identify a browser on a specific device.
In this document, the term “cookies” also refers to other files that collect information in a similar way (e.g., pixels, beacons, etc.).
Based on these files, the website can recognize you:
- through so-called “session cookies” – during your visit to the website. These temporary cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. You can set your browser to notify you about the use of cookies. This ensures transparency of cookie usage. Important: if you completely disable cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of our website.
- through so-called “persistent cookies” – for repeated visits to the website. These cookies may be checked each time you visit the website.
The information we collect through the website includes: browser type, referring URL, device operating system, and device IP address.
For displaying more relevant ads, some cookies are set by third-party advertising systems such as Google Analytics. This can be disabled in your Google account. Your device can also be set to reject cookies, although some website functions may not work properly.
- “Our cookies” are cookies placed on this website by our company.
- “Third-party cookies” are cookies placed on your device by another company when you use our website. Third-party cookies may be placed by providers who supply services to us (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Third parties do not have access to data in our cookies, and we cannot access third-party cookies.
